40's, fat and fit describes me! The armed forces kept the weight off but after leaving it crept on and the fitness dwindled. Now I'm working hard to reverse some of the damage. Looking fwd to adding C25K in to the mix. Feel free to say hi, offer advice or anything else. I hear this community is worth being a part of.
Thanks for having me! Pleasure to meet you.

Hi Sarah I'm new to the programme too just started W2r2 (on Wednesday). I'm thinking you may smash this as you were in the Armed Forces π. Good Luck π
Well hellooo! Welcome, I understand you know our millwalki8 ..... in that case you're going to have to join our team for a little jaunt at Cambourne next April.......
Are you in the Cambridge area? There is parkrun........
Look forward to hearing more from you as you go along.....slow and steady is the mantra here.....
Fab, Parkrun is brilliant, you'll love it, I promise, I'm sure there must be one near you.......as for April, this is the Cambourne 10k, (Cambourne, Cambridgeshire) it's a fab off road (mainly) flattish course, really friendly, all abilities welcome. millwalki8 and I and my OH have done it the last two years, next year will be the 10th anniversary of the run.....I'm hoping the bling (medal) will be a bit special, so well worth a go π π
And yes, there is a pub........and there's also the Wings for Life run in Cambridge......now, AncientMum and I are trying to get a team from here to have a go, it'll be May 6th next year.......search on line........see if you might fancy it.....it's a lot of fun, that's for sure...π......and you get a free beer afterwards......
