To say im so very very happy is an understatement. Im ecstatic ive completed the couch to 5k. Its been a fantastic journey of self discovery pushing myself that little bit harder a little bit more never giving up. At nearly 60 and an over weight female i never thought i could do this. Now im proud to say im a runner. Ive toned up lost weight and im feeling fantastic. To anyone starting out you can do this just dont over think about it and take one day at a time and if you need 2 or even 3 days rest in-between runs thats ok dont beat your self up. And most of all be proud of yourself everytime you put those shoes on and go out for a run. Good luck everyone π

Hi! Congrats! In what week did you start loosing weight? Did you also combined with a healthier diet? I am starting week 3 and would like to loose around 8/10kg. Are you able to run the 5km in a go? Thanks
Thank you. I decided to eat more healthy week 8 and witin the two weeks i lost weight, and this morning another pound. i have lost inches overall and toned up over the oast 9 weeks . Yes i can now run 5k in one go . My aim at the beginning was to improve my fitness levels and stamina then i looked at my food intake not forgetting water intake so important i now drink 2 and half to 3 liters of water/fluids a day. This has helped an awful lot. Keep at it good luck you can do it. πββοΈπββοΈ

Congratulations on completing C25K!
I'm just about to do my final run of the programme, Week 9 Run 3, and I'm 64. Firstly, congratulations on what you've achieved, Santa 1, and secondly thanks for the encouraging message. I cant really say I enjoy running yet. It's still more like a chore but I'm hoping to join a park run once I've trained myself to do the full 5k on the treadmill. See you out there one day perhaps and I'll certainly be joining you with a large G&T if i finish nd toasting our lovely Queen at the same time!
