Why was this run so hard? I thought Iβd nail it after doing 20 mins in Week 5 but it was much harder than I expected. Does anyone know why that might be? Feeling a bit nervous about Run 2 now!π¬

Congratulations on completing your longest C25k workout to date.
This session catches out more people than any other run in the programme and we warn people about it.
On paper it is a doddle but my belief is that psychology plays a major part in folk encountering difficulty.
After the triumph of W5R5 many are somewhat overconfident and consequently push too hard.
One twenty minute run does not a runner make.
You are not alone so if you stay nice and slow you will not have any worries.

Definitely the toughest run of the whole program for me and completely agree with the comment above itβs mainly psychological. You will be grand on run 2. Just take it steady you will smash it ππ»
