Didn’t want to miss a week while I’m on holiday so brought my running gear with me. This was my first time on the road as I usually run on the athletic track back home. Was a bit apprehensive at first but soon got over it. It was a lovely route, so much to see and way more interesting than the track. Overall an enjoyable run.

I ran on a track years ago but much prefer the road, I wonder if you will add in road runs when you get home?

Fabulous... well done you, shaking it up and enjoying it... opens up some new ideas for the return home!Enjoy your holiday!
Ah you did so well. I'm back from 2 weeks holiday and couldn't find any runs I was comfortable enough doing (the campsite was too "public" and the local roads either pavement-less lanes or through woodland and I just wasn't confident enough to try!) Itching to get back on another run and hoping after 2 weeks off I haven't slipped too far! I was due to start week 8, but instead going back to beginning of week 7 again and see how I go!
