2) I was in a play and had a sudden fear I'd fall and injure myself(idk why as I've never fallen before)
3) I went away for a few days
4) I caught covid post play (not that serious just awful fatigue, a lot of sneezing and sweats)
5) Took a week out to make sure I was full recovered
Anyway, set off for a run yesterday at 8am. It was warm but not stifling. Slow but steady pace up a hill to start with. Careened down it on my way back - ha ha. Actually ended up with a decent time and it felt good, although my legs and ankles are suffering a bit this morning.
Hope to go out tomorrow but might take an extra rest day and walk instead.
Happy running, everyone. It's good to be back.

Nice that you are back running Crolla, perhaps after being off running for that time you should go back to run 1 or 2 of C25K and follow the course from there on, glad you enjoyed your comeback run, onwards and upwards.
I was thinking about doing just a 20 minute run but as I went on, I went for the full 30 and managed the 5k in 32 mins which is about my average. Perhaps if I'd stuck to a shorter run my legs wouldn't ache though!
(I actually finished the c25k four years ago but didn't find this board until later so didn't get a graduate badge.)
