I'm completing this programme so much slower than planned this time round, but none the less, I'm doing it!
Week 8, Run 2, first attempt, ran 22 mins but my hip started really hurting so I stopped because my instinct was telling me if I pushed myself I'd end up with a proper injury. I never even noticed the muscles in my hips before, but they're quite important 😂😂 anyway, I took a week off to rest and recover, and today I decided I was fit enough to give this run another attempt.
I managed to complete the run 🥳, increasing speed for the last 3-5 minutes, as for some strange reason the extra concentration on effort distracts me makes the time go quicker 😂😳
Anyway. It got done. I was SOOOO releived to see it was my cool down, another step closer to my second graduation!
Hats off to everyone getting out there to do this, it's tough! It takes determination and discipline and challenges you push beyond what you think you're capable of!! ❤❤
