Mrs t_m is a speedy Nordic walker. We play a game of pursuit while I run. She sets off along the path while I faff about with the phone, headphones etc, and my job then is to see whether I can catch her before MJ says the run is finished. Sounds easy eh? It took me 19 minutes to catch her up this morning, and by the time the run was finished she was still less than 5 minutes behind. Not sure whether this is because she's so fast or I'm so slow, but anyway it’s a good challenge.
Anyhow, that’s another one done. I know that lots of people are doing week 9 at the moment, so good luck to everyone. Obligatory pic of the village at the end of my run today.

Gorgeous photo, t-m, so who cares about the fast/slow?! Glad I’m not the only one still faffing about with apps and earphones 😂 I’m going out later today - I hope with my buddy, but her ankle is giving her trouble so I might be running on my own, on a warm evening 😱 When are you planning the last one and anything special planned to celebrate?!
Last one tomorrow morning. Forecast is warm so it might have to be on the hilly mountain trail, which is tough! Eek! Will take Mrs t_m out for dinner if it's a success. When's yours?
Sounds like fun! If all goes well this evening, mine will be Saturday morning hoping to do Park Run, and go out for a blow-out meal next week with the running buddy to celebrate!
Everything crossed for you 👍 We don’t have Parkrun in Switzerland but will be back in the U.K. for a bit in August, so might give it a go. Could you post about how it went - what happens etc?
