I knew it was raining when I opened my eyes this morning. Undeterred, I ventured out at 6.50am for W8R1 in my natty new cap and, after the first 10 mins, didn't really notice the rain. The run itself was ok, I did have to give myself a good talking to at one point but I did as Denise told me and just kept putting one foot in front of the other. A PB of 28 mins, in which I covered 2.5 miles. Not too shabby!!
I can't believe that next Friday I will graduate π₯°

Well done for getting out in the rain. I used to think uurgh it's raining but then I can only get wet once & I actually enjoyed running in the rain. Good luck with your graduation next week π
Congratulations to you Brixcos on almost completing C25K by running in the rain β run 3 of week 8, the 28 minutes run, only 3 more runs until you graduate, good luck for your graduation run next Friday . π ππΎ
That's true dedication! I've still not been properly rained on but must admit I was a little disappointed not to have the opportunity to use my new (eBay bargain) lightweight running coat today for W7R3!
Ooh a lightweight running coat. Who knew there was such a thing!
I just wore a light jacket that I bought for country walking, it's really thin and slightly waterproof. It did the job. And shorts. I looked a sight, I'm sure, when everyone else was in full waterproofs!
See you on the graduation podium soon. Aren't we doing good π₯°
I've discovered all sorts of available running paraphernalia but of course most of it is totally unnecessary, just makes me feel like a proper runner π
Yes, I'm right behind you with only 2 weeks to go. Had to take 3 rest days after W7R2 as tried a new route and tackled a big incline that nearly finished me off, but finally finished W7 today πͺ
