I can't recommend a knee support, however what I can recommend (when pain free) is the knee strengthening excercises linked to from the program guide !Knee issues is one of the most common problems when starting to run

As Instructor57 mention, doing knee strengthening exercises has also helped my various knee niggles over the years. We do have a folder with all sorted of targeted exercises over at S&F, our sister forum, so you probably can find some nice knee strengthening exercises in there once you are ok again. healthunlocked.com/strength...

So wishing you speedy recovery!

I wear a knee brace (just completed week 8) and have used it since run 1. I have an issue with my right knee and have had it for about 5 years. It has taken me quite a while to get to week 9, but what with the knee, sore calves etc in week 3/4, cannot run every other day as the program suggests. My knee normally needs 3/4 days of recovery minimum after the longer runs. But I would definitely recommend a Neenca Professional knee brace. They are about £20 on amazon and really good. Apart from that, ice, rest and maybe don't try to run every other day and do the strengthening exercises as suggested. Good luck with the program!
