It has been a really busy day but I didn't want it to end before I managed to post the fact that I HAVE DONE IT! This morning I finished my third 30 minute run. It was not quite Couch to 5K and I have to admit Couch to 2,66K does have the same ring but I don't care because it leaves me plenty to work towards.
After a disastrous first run that I did not complete I was lucky enough to find this forum and following the advice and encouragement I found here I started again and did not look back! So am I really grateful for all the support and I am pretty sure without you I would probably NOT have done it!

Many thanks for taking the time and effort to comment. As I think I mentioned lots of work to do to get to 5 K and so as you so wisely say I’ve only just begun ( or was that Karen Carpenter?)😉
She and us...x 5K will follow,,, maybe not in 30 minutes but it will follow. Many, many of our most awesome runners, who compete in Marathons, Half-Marathons , Triathlons etc, have never done 5K in 30 minutes...but they are fantastic runners nonetheless
Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to comment I really do appreciate it. I would love to know how you progress so keep us posted and good luck🍀
