done it

okay it took me a few days longer but I have just been out there today and have run my last run of couch to 5k program.

After the usual confusion that you don't actually do 5k in 9 weeks, and with my body groaning at me to stop I "crossed the line" and was told well done for the last time.

So what is next well I think it will be actually getting to 5k altogether whilst running, but this Saturday I am going along to park run, apparently you can catch yourself a panther if you are lucky.

Well done on your achievement and do enjoy your graduation. Don't forget to ask for your badge. It sounds as though you know exactly how you want to proceed now and it seems a wise choice (given me an idea for the end of this month). Good luck with your 5K quest and do enjoy your park run. Best wishes.

Thank you am going ask them once I've got up to 5k then I can feel like I've really done it justice.

Congratulations! Feels absolutely great doesn't it? ( the achievement not necessarily the actual running...) :-)

Well done Rob. I'm at the same place as you, can't complete the 5k in 30 minutes but it's tantalisingly close. When I look back over my C25k journey I can see my 1k times improving week on week, so I'm sure I'll soon be able to tick that one off, and so will you.

Thank you, I never thought about timing and such until week6 and haven't really done anything other than just finish the plan and now I have I can do something with it.

wahey.....and pull the party poppers...you've done it...blimey well done. You need to be so proud...and yes ...parkrun is the best place to catch a panther :) .....if you can ( they are sensitive and stealthy creatures...)...so so happy for you!

Thank you, definitely a party popper moment earlier, not so much proud as relieved that I can now run. I think I will catch myself a panther as i am quite good with all things cat related, so you had better start looking behind you.

Thank you, yes can't wait to get to 5k hopefully not too long til I get there.

Apparently there are loads of panthers at park runs so it shouldn't be too difficult

Watch out...Panther fact: 'A Panthers is so strong it can lift the heavy animal it killed into the tree with them' you'd better get running!!!

Run_Rob profile image

that's okay because I would just get my chopper out anf fell the tree, creative solutions to get there in the end!
