Boy I’m finding this week hard. Run two today, TOUGH and in my defence it was blowing a gale across the exposed fields in Suffolk (running whilst on hols ✔️) and it was colder than I imagined which I hadn’t dressed for. As always perseverance paid off - it wasn’t pretty or fun but I feel like have achieved something and my mood is lighter as a result 🙂🏃‍♀️

Great job! 💪😀👍💨🌊

I love my Aldi merino when it’s cold but dry. A windproof gilet is a lovely thing too. Weather is a challenge for sure but you got out and nailed your session 👊✊

You’re nearly there! The hardest week is behind you 👍

Thanks MW! I find once I start running I don’t really have much headspace for worrying about the weather I forget about it mostly but the warm up and cool down walk is another t hing!

You’ll get acclimated in time. Brisk is the operative word 😀

You can warm up indoors before hitting the street. Throw a few moves 🕺😀

It’s definitely rather blustery today! My grandparents used to live in Suffolk and I have such fond memories of visiting them. Well done on persevering, and a lovely photo 😊😊😊.

Thanks Frenc. It is very lovely countryside here and peaceful too. I think Fri and Sat may be better weather 🤞🏻

Lots of us have found the wind a bit of a challenge today. Really well done!

Hi - yes I graduated 2020 but unfortunately had to stop around May last year and then didn’t run for 8 months. Decided to start at the beginning so as to rebuild fitness and stamina.

What a beautiful photo and congratulations on a good run.

It was definitely chilly and very windy out there. I had to give myself a severe talking to in order to get myself out the door.

And why is it that whichever way you’re running it’s always a head wind? 💨

Hope you’re relaxing now and enjoying your holiday

💨 I think I must of looked like a right dithering clown when I reached a crossroads and starting whirling around trying to work out which way was least windy! 😂 answer - they were all as bad!

Aw, I love the image I have of you twirling.

I honestly think some physicist needs to work out why, when you’re wearing running gear, the wind can blow from all directions. It must be something to do with aerodynamics 🤔🤣
