Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
Bear in mind that only a small proportion of people complete 5k in 30 minutes during the programme.
Don't chase the distance. Counterintuitively, it is an easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Welcome to the forum and the program!
Do read the program guide linked to by IannodaTruffe

Enjoy your runs !
I'm the same, I can't wait until I've graduated and then consolidated, and then onto the next challenge! Enjoy!
Hi Ccoco, I'm on my second round but at the same place as you. Have faith - the programme really works even when your body says it can't.This is a really supportive forum so keep sharing your highs and hopefully occasional, lows.
