So after an injury 5 weeks ago I have not been able to do anything that would put too much pressure on my ankle, so just been and got assessed for support trainers at my physios suggestion.

Only made it to w2 r2 before I had to stop last time so I’m going to start back at the very beginning and try again!!

Sorry to hear about your injury - good supportive trainers will certainly help. The very best of luck this time around!

Good luck on your return. I popped my achilles in January after getting to W3R1. Just recently started again after getting the all clear. W6R1 is next!!

I fractured my ankle last year and had soft tissue damage then this time I’m really not sure what I done but damaged my ligament and tendons so still recovering but hopefully with physio and new trainers I can start again

I’d only made it into week 2 but even at that I was enjoying getting back into running after so many years away! Can’t wait to get started again 😊

Sorry to hear about injury, I had to give up for a while as well, however you will come back mentally stronger, having already overcome the starting hurdle.
