Second run of each run or second run of each week? Second run of each run might mean a good idea to take first run a bit slower, this builds stamina and isn’t a race.

Second run of each week might be because first run was longer than the week before, keep going and one day there will be no walking breaks so no second run 😀

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

I also found the second run each week the toughest when I first did C25K. I think we are naturally cautious for the first one. A bit cocky for the second and used to pacing and actually a bit better developed by the third.

It's all in the head.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
