I’m doing the C25K once again it’s my 3rd or 4th go, I got to W9 once. I’m 81 and well but motivation to get going is my problem. I’m now at W3R3 for tomorrow. I’m a full time carer for my wife and the C25K provides a bit of relief for a short time and also a better nights sleep.
“On On” as we used to say when running in the Hash many years ago while living in Bahrain.

Well done on your progress so far. It isn't always easy to find time for yourself when you care for someone. Taking the time to run, building your physical strength, caring for your mental wellbeing, it all gives you the resources you need to help your wife.
Enjoy your run today and keep us posted about your progress 😁
I've lost track of how many times I've done this programme, I'm on W4r3 at the moment.
Being a carer is hard and it's good to do something for yourself, especially as the something will also help you as a carer as Yesletsgo said. Keep on keeping on.
I had to stop running for various reasons (torn meniscus, huge ovarian cyst, a fall damaging my coccyx, ....) but I'm back and this time I've got two of my children doing it with me so we can encourage each other.
🍏🤩Wonderful you taking care of your wife as my wonderful hubby does for me! I encourage him to take much needed time out & we are away at the moment so he can enjoy some meals that he didn’t have to plan, shop and prepare! So glad your choice is to run again & that it brings with it its gifts of headspace & good 💤 times. Do post here when you have time so we can cheer you on. Thanks for your encouragement too! 🏃♂️ 🤗
well done Greyandold …you need to take that precious time for yourself…you are doing such a wonderful, selfless thing caring for your wife it’s easy to forget your own needs
