It's magic π©. How on earth have I just managed to run, sorry, slow and steady jog, for 28 minutes and actually enjoy it π. I'm totally elated, again! I just can't believe it's meπ

Congratulations on running run 1 of week 8 and enjoying it too, only 5 more runs to go until you graduate, onwards and upwards ππΎ
Yes itβs you. I know totally amazing feeling. I still think wow me running.
π amazing isn't it! Just magic!
I know exactly how you feel! I felt the same this morning after completing mine. Go us! πππ Iβve just told my son about running by his house every other morning and he said itβs really strange thinking about me moving fast or running as I never did any moving before this πππ
Because you have become a junkie.
Your endorphin (endogenous morphine) and endogenous cannabinoid receptors are excited when you run...............so you run again, feel good and run again.
It's too late..........you are hooked.
In layman's terms what IannodaTruffe is saying, is your experiencing that legal "high" that running provides, and yes you are indeed hooked, might as well start that Christmas present list of what a runner needs right now πππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
It's crazy isn't it? How can you go from wondering whether you can make the jump from 60s to 90s and then only a few weeks later be running 28 minutes and actually enjoying it!!? The plan works. Physical and mentally, it works. Enjoy your running!
Its amazing what we can do when we try, and how much fun it can be! ππ»π
Well done! Yes, amazing isn't it? Or so you think ...
The boring answer is that you got here because you've managed to stick with a progressive training program that means you're always prepared for the next step, whether that was an increase in running from 8x 1 minute runs to 6x 1.5 minutes or the big psychological hurdle that is W5R3. Every single run that you do helps prepare you (by an accumulation of fitness) for the next run
Enjoy your final 2 weeks!
