I just had to tell someone that I've done this. I know it's only three mins more than last week but it's been a bit of a week and I really had to force myself out.

When I start I always feel so sluggish that I can't think how I'm going to get round. But somehow Jo and my playlist keep me going to the end.

Got a bit of a right knee niggle on resting so hope it's nothing because I can see the end of the programme now and I want to get there!

Well done you for sticking with it! Try some RICE for that knee niggle? Good luck with the last 6 runs to graduation! 👍

Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation -- for sprains and strains :-)

I feel the same way on the long runs. Surprisingly though your fitness is still improving -- I thought it was much easier on the week 9 long runs than the week 8s. Anyway -- five more runs to go, five more runs to go, nananannana, five more runs to go!! Nearly there!

😊😊😊😊 so much of it is in my mind. And I'm actually as pleased about strengthening mind over matter as overall fitness. Here's to W9R3 and beyond 👍🏼👍🏼

Well done 🙂 Being slow to get going is not surprising. You could warm up a bit indoors first or extend your warm up walk

Good luck 👍

Well done @LizH2! It is a great achievement!

I love the way people change their thinking during this programme from "I'll never run for three mins" to "it's only three minutes, but......"

Like you I often find the first few minutes of a run the hardest. I found that a few dynamic exercises during my warm up walk have helped.

Ooo good idea. I have stretches before and after (and on in between days) but I love the idea of using the walk to incorporate some too.
