Just finished W8r1 and my goodness it hurt. BUT it feels brill now. I did keep thinking it's only 3 mins more than last week. I never would have thought that a couple of weeks ago I couldn't manage 3 mins :-D

Well done! That'll be me the day after tomorrow (I'm giving myself two recovery days following W7R3 as I did a lot of walking yesterday after my run and my calves are really sore today!).

Now I know you've managed it I have more faith that I'll be able to stretch to those extra 3 minutes as well :-D

If I did it you will. We are running about the same speed too. I usually do my runs on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday or Sunday but as it's windy tonight thought the wind would keep me cool but still got back looking like a turnip :-B

well done , you are almost there now :D keep going 4 runs to go :D

Hi, I Just did W8r1 this evening also!

I found it challenging too. Every step was hard earned.

Stitches are becoming a nuisance for me, seem to get them all the time. Not terribly bad, but aches for quite a bit. I ran 5 hours after last eating. Think I was well hydrated - had couple cups of tea during the day.

Well done you for keeping going with a stitch, the advice on this blog is to keep hydrated all day. The middle 10 mins seems to be when I am at my best ( even then it's slow) . That's 3 of us if we keep going going to graduate at the same time :-D

We should synchronise watches and finish next week at the same time! There would be some exuberance radiating out the day that happens!

Isn't it great that it's now really looking possible?

Keep steady and finger's crossed no niggly injuries. We're on the corner before the home straight!
