I finished W2R3 yesterday and felt very proud. Mid September when I first tried I had to give in as pain behind my left knee prevented me from lifting my leg. So disappointed. After 1 gait analysis, new running shoes and a rest, I started at week 1 again. Slowed down so much (with thanks to recommendations on this site) and can't believe the difference it has made. I only manage to cover around 2.1 kilometres, but, that's truly good enough for now. W3R1 here I come. Have a lovely evening one and all.

And to you to 👍. I was hit with Bells palsy on the right side of my face 3.5 years ago. Most of that side is still paralysed but at times hurts an awful lot. Yesterday it was coupled with a headache and I really didn't want to do the run. How happy am I that I did it though. By the time I had finished I felt so good the pain had disappeared. Who would have thought 😊. Keep up your good work.
Thank you. Im doing this on my treadmill (with the stats covered, so I only see them at the finish) and my son (the ex marine) stands by me cheering me on, chatting to me as I run to make sure I don't overdo it. 😄
