Well done.

We had an 83 year old graduate a few years ago, so you are a spring chicken in comparison.

I’m determined to keep going as long as I can.

The longer the runs got the slower we ran, my reasoning was that if we went really slow we would have the energy to run to the end of the time, it’s about time not speed or distance, we will never be fast but over time our legs have got stronger and we are faster than we were. As to age and benefits, blood pressure down, cholesterol down, waist smaller and leg muscles stronger, i feel that every run reduces the risk of falling over, breaking a hip and spending the rest of my life walking with a zimmer frame, runners have better balance. I work full time too

I couldn’t agree more. It’s so important that we look after ourselves more now and the pay back is priceless, with all those health benefits too! I have experienced pretty much the same improvements as you.

Well done you!! I’m 68 now and redoing C25k again with my daughter and have just done that run too. It feels like you are a real runner now doesn’t it? Enjoy the next few weeks
