I did it and despite having to give myself a “you can do this speech” at the end of the final run it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it might be which goes to prove the barriers are in your head not necessarily your body. I then had a busy day with my grandson we did several walks and played football. BUT I pulled my back bending to pick a toy up from the floor 😣 I’m still up for R2 tomorrow because once I’m up and moving it’s seems fine it’s just getting up and down that I need to be careful with. I will stop if needed but hopefully today’s rest day will help, that’s rest once the grandson goes home 😂

Well done to you. I do believe much of it is in the mind but be careful of your back ! Good luck
I love your "batteries are in your head not your body " thought. A really good thought to hold onto at the start of a run on a "tired" day!
Thankyou for sharing.
Well done on your w3r1 Poppdog, you’re doing really well. I’ve put my back out just putting on a sock before now so I know how you must feel- who knew toys were so dangerous! You may well find that your gentle slow running doesn’t affect your back, mine is usually ok thankfully 😅, but obviously stop if it does; the plan will wait for you!
Well done you ! I’ve got my 1st run of week 3 today. 🤞 keep going 😃
Yes you are quite correct all in the mind! Hope your run goes well and your back improves!
