1Mile easy

Today I took it easy, after yesterday’s 3k . So I decided to Run 1Mile, same as on Sunday but today a whooping 2 sec quicker lol I normally run in the morning too but today I went little bit later as it’s not too hot anyways. It was a nice run, I might do little bit of yoga or a leg workout later on! I hope you guys having fantastic day, I am sending you awesome vibes 🥰

Are you running every day?

in reply to Instructor57

No I’m not, but sometimes I run consecutive days if I can’t wait, I take it easy though. I take 2-3 days off running a week so all in al I run like every other day on average. I also do yoga and I lift weights 😅

The best way to develop would be not to run on consecutive days even if it's an easy run, you are still using muscles that need time to repair from the previous day .It could of course induce injury but even if it dosent you will not maximise improvement .

Worth a thought 🙂👍

Please do. It's the most important thing to follow if you're starting out running.

For at least the first six months always have a rest day (or two) after a run day.

Thank you I’ll try to take days off after a run! Like today I’m not running 😁
