I found this app called Couch to 5K & 10K by App Symphony on the Google Play store, whose C25K component mirrors that of the NHS. The voice guidance is very robotic and concise merely telling when to run and when to walk rather than offering encouragement and platitudes. It does, however, allow you to play your own music and podcasts from other apps on your device such as VLC Media Player or Spotify, which it will interrupt briefly with instructions to walk or run before letting you continue your listening and activity.

Cool, let us know how you get on with it. I'm gradually making my way to 10k my adding small time increments to my "long" run every week or two.
Being in the UK I was lucky to have access to the NHS C25K app. which allows for your own music in the same way. I'm sure it made a big difference to me, I can't be doing with royalty free music, it makes you appreciate how good even the most manufactured chart dross is !😅 Given only that choice I may have just got myself a stopwatch.
