W5R3 Nailed it!!

First time writing on here but thought I’d share my achievement today. Running 20 minutes today non stop felt amazing. I’m 61 years old, never run before starting C25K , I gave myself a 2 day rest going into this run, it wasn’t easy but it was doable. Mind over matter plays a huge part in completing this run. Stay positive particularly with this run. Good Luck!!

Congratulations completin week 5 run 3 !That's a milestone run 😁

Be mindfull on week 6 runs 1 and 2 as they can catch people out with going back to intervals

I bet you feel amazing and so chuffed. If you look back to five weeks ago did you think you could run for 20 minutes so soon? I do think this running lark is a lot to do with the brain . I did this run this morning and still am on cloud nine about it.

Me too. If you’d seen me week 1 , there was no way of thinking I’d achieve running non stop for 20 minutes . A huge pat on the back for both of us!!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K 😊 🏃🏾Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Very little worthwhile in life comes easy. Awesome job out there... 20 minutes just a handful of weeks into your running journey is a milestone. Slow and steady into week 5 and you got this.

Congratulations. I just completed this run this morning too You are so right about mind over matter. I really had to concentrate on something other than the fact I was running. But we’ll done to us. We did it.
