After asking about recovery days it was irrelevant as my back decided for me! A full week of recovery resting a herniated disc. Not sure if the running or mowing the lawn is to blame. Another week of gentle walking ahead then I think it's back to the start! Any other runners with back issues?

Back stops play 😳
Hi Bish! What a shame. Several people in my family have disc problems so I know how frustrating it can be. And I think you often don't know what's caused it. It could even have just been an awkward movement that was nothing to do with lawn mowing or running! I'm not a medical expert but would say your plan of some total rest then starting with gentle walking is a really good way forward. You really don't want to aggravate it again. Listen to your body and go and see a specialist if you need 👍🏼 Good luck for a speedy recovery
