Back to back runs

Hi folks. Next week I might have to have 2 back to back runs. This will be week 8 so 28minutes runs.

Has anyone done it and any tips on recovery? Might have to spread it a bit and do week 8 twice.

It s not certain yet but might happen.

Tips appreciated

NO, never have two back to back runs, that is one if the most important rules of C25K, you could end up on the IC, injury couch.

I m not too keen on doing this I might add. I d hate to mess it up! Especially at this stage

Bobbypizza well done on getting to week 8. Congrats on all your hard work but please take Almorrs advice. There are many many posts about the importance of rest days which are needed to repair the muscles. It would be such a shame for you to risk injury when you are so close. It doesn’t matter if a run goes into the following week. That’s the beauty about the programme. Have a great week 8 and please have rest days so you keep off that injury couch. 😀

Better to spread your runs rather than run on consecutive days at this stage.

That s my thinking now yea. Shorter runs I could handle but longer ones not so sure! I LL check my schedule and rejig or do week 8 twice
