I got about half way through then thought I sprained my ankle whilst running in a weird position because I had a blister on my heel. Turns out The blister was a red herring and I actually had a clean fracture through my fibula. Mind you, I walked around for 6 weeks thinking “Thats really sore. Better not run” after doing one run post-fracture (yet to be diagnosed) and having my whole leg blow up, after some dodgy Physio advice. I believe i broke it when I was changing my daughter’s sheets and smacked my leg really hard on the wooden bed frame. It’s a lesson in paying attention to my own well-being and listening to my body. My brain gets busy with mum-duties. I’m looking forward to healing and starting again some time in the future.

Ouch that's really bad luck 😔 hope you feel better soon x
yikes, that sounds sore
What has the doctor /physio said?
Heal well, the runs will wait until you can do them again
Oh no!!! I feel your frustration and pain!!! I got to the end of week 6 in February and slipped on some ice and broke my foot 😩. I was devastated about not being able to run! I had 6 weeks with a black boot (have you got one or a cast?) and then told not to even try and run for 8 weeks. So, 14 weeks to the day, I set off on W1 R1 again and yay I could still do it!!! I am now literally tomorrow doing the last run of week 6 🤞🏻 which will get me to where I left off!! Your injury sounds very painful and it’s amazing you were able to carry on without realising the damage …you are obviously very tough!
Anyway the point of all this waffling is get yourself healed and you can do it again! It’s very frustrating but reading posts on here lots of people have had far worse injuries and illnesses than me and come back again so that is so inspiring!!! Look after yourself in the meantime and before you know it you will be back!
Sorry to here this Move-Mama as everyone has said rest and heal, C25K will still be here when you are ready.
You poor thing, you must have given yourself a real wallop! If you are interested, and only when you are ready, there are a couple of people doing exercises on youtube that can help you stay fit. One is Ella Beaumont, she does wheelchair fitness, and the other is Caroline Jordan (I think, I'll check names). She does a series of videos for people wearing a walking boot. But first, rest up. It takes a lot of energy to heal a broken bone.
Oh no! What rotten luck 😣. I’m so sorry to hear that. Bed frames have a lot to answer for, I stubbed my big toe and broke it once stumbling to the loo in the night. I really hope you heal quickly, C25K will be waiting for you. 😊😊😊
