Having graduated 2 weeks ago whilst on holiday in Cornwall I decided to treat myself to a Coasteering session whilst still in Cornwall. It’s something I’ve always wanted to have a go at.00
Things were going great and I’d done a few jumps, exciting and exhilarating!! However ... on my last jump as soon as I hit the water I knew I’d done some damage. Long story short I’ve got a stable fracture in my L2 vertebrae. I’m going to be on the IC for quite some time unfortunately but I will get back to C25K. Just have to be very patient and do as I’m told now. ☹️

Hi Glynis, you must be a bit fed up but the road will still be there, think of all the progress you’ve made and how much fitter you are now! Bet you’ll get back on track v soon, hope you get mended soon 💐🌟
Oh no sorry to hear that poor you 😬🙁. That sinking feeling when you just know something’s gone wrong. Hope you recover soon and take it easy and take care 😊
That’s a blow however you can still keep in touch here while on IC ready to join in again later. You’re fitter now too, so that should stand you in good stead for your recovery. Good luck
Oh Glynis that’s such a shame when you were doing something you always wanted to do. Take good care of yourself until you’re able to be back out on the run again! ❤️
Thanks, there was a lady in the same ward as me with an unstable fracture and she had to wear an all in one neck and back brace. Poor thing, she could walk with crutches but it looked so uncomfortable. Luckily i’m on rest and walking, very slowly, with crutches.
