Iβve not put many posts in here, but as others have said Iβve read loads and theyβve all helped me keep going, thank you!!!
I started my journey in April a few weeks after my dad died. I really needed something to do and as I want to be fit enough to do Cani-x with my dogs being able to run on my own seemed a good place to start! Iβd done a bit of Cani-x with my dog last year but heβs a 40kg tank and pulls like a train, and although I could cope cardio wise my ankles and knees and hips could not! I was being dragged along like a rag doll and really not enjoying it!
This C25k journey has been great. Ive stuck to the planned runs, and rest days, and stretches, and warm ups and warm downs and even had a few more xtra rest days along the way (forced by second Pfizer jab which knocked me for 6, and getting a touch of what I can only assume was heat stroke in the really hot weather)! But my goodness this programme works! Itβs not always been easy, but Ive trusted it and seeing other people achieving has made me think I can do it too! And I can ππ
Keep up the amazing work everyone. Completing this programme is a real achievement even if (like me) you donβt manage to run 5k in the 30 minutes. Iβm so proud of myself for doing it, and proud of everyone else who has ever achieved this or who is working to achieve!!!
