W7r1 today, and last week I found my usual route barely left me enough of a cool down walk, so I added an extra section today. This feels like another form of progress 😊
A damp, mizzly run this morning, but I wore my cap, and it was actually lovely running weather. If it hadn't been for the extra traffic at this later time of the morning causing me to leap into the sopping hedgerows more often than usual, I wouldn't have got too wet!
Very pleased to make it round, I seem to be pacing myself ok as it was hard for the first half but I felt good for the 2nd half and was able to speed up for the last minute, as suggested by Laura!

Yep, I had to find longer routes from Week 7 onwards too. On one of them I got totally lost, had to run across wet grass, but kept going until I saw something familiar.
Haha yeah hubby was pointing out some longer routes for me - which would have involved lots of wet grass this morning! I passed, but might have to take the off-road plunge soon 😊 Hopefully won't get too lost...
If you have a google, you might be able to find some nice bike paths near you. I use ‘plot a route’ website to plan my routes. It’s easy to use and does little paths and things.
I had to do the same last week. I would hit this steep motorway bridge and turn back but this week I went over the bridge and into a whole new range of options. Like you said it feels like progress and over confidence as the first time I ran up the slope and completed the run I felt sickly but ok today.
