Wasn’t quite done properly as I ran with a friend, but she cycled and I ran. We stopped when either of us needed a break (she’s got MS, I’ve got AS and she’s been my very, very good friend for years). We walked the very rough bits of the towpath to make sure neither of us fell in. We did more time than that required by week 5, so I’m counting it. What a beautiful sunny day 🌤☀️

The canal tow path is a perfect place for both running and cycling, and it must have been nice for you to have some company today. When you are sharing the experience and chatting with someone else I think it takes your mind off the run effort and everything seems to flow better (unless you are running with UTS of course). 😉🏃‍♀️ 🚴

Yes, you should definitely count it. It sounds like a lovely walk. Was it busy?

It was definitely a run. We did 2 miles, and some of it was quite fast 😳. Lots of boats out for the bank holiday, and walkers, canoeists and paddle boarders. Another scorcher today. I’m ashamed to say I didn’t pay enough attention and can feel some pinkness coming through on my arms. Not enough sun screen!!!

I have to admit, I enjoyed it immensely. It was lovely to have company.

How lovely to be able to run with a friend like that, making allowance for each other. 🥰
