Well, that's it. Tonight's run was the last in my couch to 5k journey. I have to be honest and say that once out there running I have enjoyed it. There have been some tough runs, I have pushed through shin splints snow and hail but come through. I've lost over 2 stone while doing this running plan along with a change in diet and I am looking forward to continuing my training as I have a 10 mile run coming up in the latter part of the year.
If anyone reading this is struggling or ready to throw in the towel, keep going! If I can do this so can you. Don't feel self conscious, your out there trying and that's what's important. Stick with the plan, STRETCH, and enjoy yourself.

What a lovely read. It sounds like c25k has made a hugely positive difference to your life. It was similar for me, and you’ve brought back all my happy feelings from this time last year.
Good luck with training for the long run. There’s a forum here for marathon and HM running, but there’s a badge available for 10mile runners, and it’s a nice place to go to get advice and have a chat with other people who are doing longer runs. Hope to see you there.

Well done for finding your running legs and giving them a lighter body to carry on your runs! It's not surprising that you're feeling very pleased and rightly so. No doubt your 10 mile target will soon be smashed too. Best wishes ☺️.
