Completed my first run of week 9 and it felt good. Although, once I’ve finished my 30 minutes of running I’m not hitting that 5K, does anyone else find this? Have the hit the 5K in the 30 minutes or close too? Is it normal not to hit the 5K in those 30 minutes?

Week 9 Run 1 - nearly finished!!
Congratulations on almost completing C25K, well done, only 10% of runners run 5K in 30 minutes on their graduation run, good luck to you for your graduation run. 🏃🏾 👍
Hi, I know how you feel. I did 4.78 on my final run on week nine and felt a bit disappointed with myself which is daft. Since I joined this forum it would seem that the 5k thing is only a guideline so don’t beat yourself up about it. If anything for me it’s motivated me to carry on as my next challenge. Keep running !
Well done on reaching week 9! I graduated a week ago and only can reach 3.5k in the 30 minutes and I'm happy with that. I'll just keep running it until I can go faster or further. Just enjoy it and don't worry about the 5k too much. Keep going you are almost there!
Hi, 5k in 30 minutes still eludes me, it's more like 3k and 5k is in 45 minutes.Run at a pace your comfortable with and be pleased with yourself for doing what you've done .
Final week BethEdwards23 ! How exciting! No need to worry about distance, that’ll come. Just concentrate on doing the 30minutes without injury and at a good pace for you. You’ll continue to progress during consolidation and beyond. 😎
BethEdwards23 Well done the plan was to get you running for 30 minutes and you have achieved that. When you have completed your graduation run post on the link below and you will find some ideas of what you can do post C25K.
Keep up the excellent work.
It's perfectly OK not to reach 5km in your week 9 runs.
It's getting on for 9 months since my graduation and I'm only just starting to run naturally and (more importantly) safely at the sort of pace needed to do that. My best 5km time came as a surprise yesterday when I was doing a different sort of run and hadn't set out to do a fast 5km.
