Have steadily been improving, increasing distance on new leg🦿just a bit at a time, even had a little jog the other day (only a few yards) but it’s the first time since 2020 but beggars can’t be choosers.
Now today’s update latest, 2.2 miles average moving speed 2.3 mph, did have to sit down 🪑a couple of times, hardest walk yet, very steep up the spadey⛰ (real name “Devils Spittle Full”). Need to get hiking poles 🦯🦯out for next time, walking stick just doesn’t cut it on hills (I know it’s only a small hill). Watch showing 38 hours recovery time so that’s my excuse for getting out of housework 😀. See picture of local wildlife🦏🦒🦓🐐.
Getting there slowly😀.
Good running everyone.

I’ve just read your back story Petem56 and have to say you’re a total inspiration! It’s good to know that things are improving to the extent that you can walk up hills! Hope the recovery continues apace - I look forward to your future posts!
You’re doing really well Pete, that’s a good pace for difficult terrain.. and it’s often harder downhill as an amputee isn’t it..Enjoy your gardening tomorrow..😊
Liking the local wildlife, well done improving your distance and stamina, tackling those hills sound tough! Enjoy your recovery hours, I look forward to another update from your next walk and hope for more wildlife photos
Amazing progress! Completely impressed as always, you should be really proud of your achievements. Onwards and upwards (or downwards, hills are like that!). And I don't like hills either ☹️
