Well im still here lol 🛋️but legs are feeling lot better only bit of a pain in tje right leg now... Ok most of the time but feel it when i go up and down stairs, down is worse. Took our lovely ted out for a walk today for the first time in 2 weeks and it went ok but leg felt little sore once i was back but nothing major just enough to let me know if i run on monday like i was hoping i could risk setting myself back again, so what to do!? Im thinking get my bike out and every other day try a bit of yoga but nothing to strenuous just to easy back into some sort of exercise then when i can do stuff without any discomfort afterward i will try and run again but do r1w1 first just to make sure 😎🌞
Hope everyone is enjoying the sun and their runs

You are wise to take it gradually when you return. Trying yourself out with w1r1 as a trial sounds a good plan. Hopefully you will feel comfortable and then confident to try running a little longer to see what you can comfortably manage. It would be great if you can slot back into the plan without having to go back too far and then we can cheer you all the way to the finish!
Thanks delly-dot, i was thinking maybe everyother day doing one from each week and seeing how comfortable it feels so i dont have to do the whole thing again then it will only take me a couple of weeks to get back to were i was.... Fingers crossed 🤞 x
Sounds like a good plan to ease you back in and for warming Ted back up too! I ran nice and early this morning as I can't do the running in the heat thing. I wouldn't stand a chance of losing the beetroot face at all if I ran when it's hot.
😂 Lol i know what u mean 🥵 but its a look not everyone can carry off! Haha, im the same there i cant do running in heat either even in the shade of the trees it can be hot lol
So glad to hear you’re improving Shar.. but do take care.. maybe stick to brisk dog walking at least for a few days, even when you feel properly better? Maybe a good, hilly, 5 to 10k walk to see how your legs feel after that.. I’m sure yoga and biking would be a good idea as well..And only run again when you’re sure?
I’m hoping to get the bike out soon.. but I’m not sure Scout the dog will cope.. she’s a bit dim.. I can imagine her getting in the way and both of us ending up in an inelegant heap...😂
🤣🤣 No lol Ted 🐕 will not be joining me with my bike🚴either that would be a disaster waiting to happen. We well be going out for another walk today... Well everyday hopfully now, leg was bit sore last night but was on my feet most of the day, which felt good lol so going to take it bit easier today 😊x
