I canโt believe I ran for 20 mins without stopping . I repeated week 5 run 2, 4 times because I didnโt think I could. I could have run a bit longer ๐โโ๏ธ

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.
Stay nice and slow for the next run.........it catches many out.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ๐๐พ ๐
Well done Newfoundland59, that run is a real turning point so feeling you could have run a bit longer is great, onwards and upwards to week 6 ๐
Well done! NOTHING else in the program should faze you now.
But... what you thought was a big *physical* hurdle, was really a mental one, as these 2 posts illustrate:

Brilliant. I felt the same way today. Such a feeling. Looking forward to the next run!
Well done!I was meant to have done it on Friday, but I struggled with the 20 mins (plus bank holiday weekend ;p)
I'm repeating week 5 this week and trying again on Friday.
