As the title says - I did it! I’m so happy that I was able to do the 20 minute run, and to be honest I felt like I could keep going at the end... looks like I got the famous runner’s high! It looks like I ran just over 3k in the 20 minutes as well which I’m so happy with seeing as last year it took me an hour to do a 5k because I couldn’t run for longer than 30 seconds!

I want to thank everyone on this website for being so positive and encouraging! & good luck to anyone else doing this run, you can do it too! 🥳

This is the pivotal run for many. It proves that it's all possible.

Watch out for Week 6... it looks easy on paper but can be a bit tricky. Remember to keep the runs slow and the walks fast.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thanks so much AlMorr! I’m the kind of person who keeps looking at the next run so it’s imprinted on my brain 🤣 but thanks for the heads up!

Maybe too late now but runners should not look ahead at future weeks or runs, wait for the instructions from your coach before you run, nevertheless well done on all the runs you have ran, once a runner completes that week, he/she knows that there is a excellent chance that he/she will graduate in about 4 weeks time.

Sorry I might be a bit dumb right now but how come you shouldn’t look at future runs? I thought it was a matter of preference?

Some people, not you get very worried about certain runs on the course, good example being run 3 of week 5, its not a hard fact rule that you shouldn't look ahead, there is always the surprise element waiting until your coach tells you about the run just before you begin whatever week or run you do.

Oh well I definitely prefer to know what I am going to be doing ahead of time so think I will stick to that thanks all the same 👍🏼
