W2R1 done!

This is the furthest I've managed to do in C25K so far, and it was really fun.

I noticed after I was done my body was determined to go for longer, but held back so I don't burn out too soon.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Well done in holding back. All too many do too much, too early and pick up injuries. Slow and steady every time wins the day.Remember, we are all here supporting and willing you on.

W3, with its 90/90, 3/3 is fun, so enjoy it.

The Spring and summer await a newly-minted runner... YOU!

Well done you. And well done for being sensible. I'm about to do w2r1 today. Bit nervous but I am enjoying it.
