Freaking hell! The power of the mind❤️I’m so so going to do this! One of my New Years resolutions was to complete tasks and not to be daunted by everything but to keep chipping away. Before every run I prep my mind first (no negative thoughts allowed), then some warm up exercises before the 5min brisk walk. I did most of my training on the treadmill and have moved to the outdoors.

I’m a believer that completing the runs are 20% physical effort & 80% mental effort. If you can get your thoughts in order you’re sorted! 🏃‍♀️

I am just like you! My prep includes “negativity is not allowed”. During C25K I was even chanting before each run “I run for 30 min with ease!” 🤣

Hahahaaha I assess body parts as I run😂it never really hurts unless I tie laces too tight then end of the run I can feel the pinch.

Excellent, but naughty! You ran for 40 mins... WELL DONE. However, If the old bod says it's OK, then why not. You have my respect and admiration.

Hahahaha I actually only ran for 30 min but I timed my warm up and cool down as well.
