This morning before work I completed week five run two! I am so happy; when I looked at it beforehand I felt really daunted by it but I DID IT and actually felt like I could have gone on a little bit longer on each run.
I am super nervous for run three; trying to keep positive about it. I have the day off on Friday so it’s gonna be a nice run along the beach 💪🏼💪🏼 (Scared but telling myself I can do this!!)
Have a great day everyone!

So good to hear that you have got to here, and fear not, W5R3 isn't as bad it may look! SLOW and STEADY will see you through. Remember, it isn't a race, and the distance you go is really not important at all; the 20 mins is, and we all know that you can do it.I went way too fast and my Garmin told me off, as did my legs. I slowed down for W6R1 and found that everything just fell into place so easily, as have the rest of my runs since.
Some will tell you that W5R3 isn't the tricky one, but W6R1 will catch you out. However, if you take it steadily you WILL get there.
Remember about the ''being able to chat whilst running'' thingy and you will be fine. I now have long, if somewhat one-sided, conversations with the local sheep population.🐏🎙️
Thank you so much for the tips - they were very helpful! I slowed down my pace a little as I do think I’ve been going a little too fast and I DID IT! So pleased! Hahaha I love that! 🐑 Congratulations on your progress too!
That's good to hear. I have kept my pace slower than I could possibly run at and I have just finished W8 with my 4th 30 min run... naughty, but who cares? Good luck for W6, and remember, SLOW and STEADY wins the day.
