So this morning was the morning. Yesterday evening I wasn't sure if I was going to manage it - my run on Saturday was late in the day and included some serious hills and yesterday I had a longish walk with my family, which also included some serious hills! However, I gave myself a bit of a lecture and I was watching the sun rise as I ran! It wasn't the fastest run, I only covered 3.35K, but I really don't mind. I can slowly stretch that to 5K. I am very proud of myself, especially when I remember how I felt when I ran W1R1! (A minute never seemed so long!) I am off to register for my nice, shiny badge and to treat myself to a cooked breakfast! Thank you for all the patience and support that you have shown me on this forum, it really is a great place!

Graduate!!!!!!!!!! Well done you What a lovely run.. I love the early morning!
Never mind the 'only covered' you ran for thirty minutes and that is what it is all about! Distance and speed.. you have loads of time to sort that if you wish to.
Your journey goes on.... your way... the adventure begins!
Well done tortoisegirl that is fantastic! How was the well earned breakfast? I too was reflecting on those first runs and the impossibility of running for 60 secs. We have come a long way ....... Xx
Thank you! It was quite an impressive red colour. Unfortunately I was close to the end by then and more interested in keeping going than admiring beauty. I have a feeling that in a few weeks I will be running in the dark!
