Did 2nd run today on week 1. Treadmill. I can do the first few 1 min runs ok but then I feel at 45 seconds I can't do any further past the rest... I am not a natural runner at all.. have any of you completed week 1 for maybe 2 - 3 weeks untill you can confidently do 1 min without feeling your gonna die. Lol...
Advice please

Is there a reason you're running on a treadmill? I only ask because you can see your speed (indeed, you have to set it) and that may be making you run too quickly. Not knowing your speed can be useful. Just remember, you absolutely cannot run too slowly. You should be able to speak clear, ungasping sentences. If you can't you're running too fast.Having said all that, I still think that the first time I ran for 60 minutes was easier than the first few 60 second runs!
Run slowly and then slow down a bit. You CAN do this and you will feel so chuffed when you complete each week. Just remember🐌🐌🐌 and good luck
The best thing to do is simply to slow down until you can complete all of the runs. You are definitely not alone in this, if you search through the posts you'll see others that have had the same trouble. When you do complete the runs, no matter how hard they seem at the time, you'll be ready to move on. Good luck with rest of C25K.
I also run on the treadmill Alison. Had the same issue as yourself and listened to the advise given above. What a difference it made. Don’t worry about getting to 5k. Its more a couch to 30min run program. Go slow, head up and believe in yourself 🤗you got this.
Yes, am at your stage week 1 run 3. Sure you can do it, just stick with it, and try running outside, not on the treadmill, there’s more going on out there, it’s more stimulating. And just take it easy, slow down, not too fast.
