I wrote a post during the week about this run after attempting it last week and not finishing it. I got some really helpful and lovely responses. This morning I reread them all and read all the links and watched the videos that had been recommended and I felt so buoyed that I knew that I could do it. I compiled 20mins of my favourite uplifting tracks and I’ve just completed it!
The slow running is amazing and it’s the first run where I’ve actually felt in control of my breathing and that I could hold a conversation (a short one) if I needed to!
Your comments were so lovely, when I had a moment between 10-15mins where I started to struggle on a slight incline and the wind was blowing, I thought of you all at the side cheering me on.... I’m feeling quite emotional!
I just wanted to say thank you so much to this community, you are fabulous. To anyone struggling, really do trust the process of C25K, you’ve done the runs... YOU CAN DO THIS! Onto W6 👊🏼💪🏼🤸🏻♂️

The perfect pace! And now you're in a great position, physically AND mentally to move on towards the home straight.
Enjoy and embrace it!

What a lovely post, and very glad you succeeded today. Just follow the corse and you will get there 😁
Really well done. Must be a great feeling. I have this run next. I’ve done wk5 r2 this morning. I really slowed the pace for this one and had loads in the tank after the first 8 min run. It really does work and makes your run more enjoyable 👏🏻👏🏻
A very inspiring post from you P21, run 3 of week 5 is a milestone run with C25K, congratulations on completing it, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
Ahhh that's amazing well done!!! I was thinking about you so it's lovely to read you did it. Made up for you.Remember the feeling, it will serve you well in the days ahead, I think it was one of the week seven runs where I thought I might actually die, but I didn't and the next run was great. You'll have good days and bad days but you CAN persevere 😊
