Rain stopped play

I would never have believed 5 weeks ago that I would miss going for a run. The weather is just too wet & windy today ☹️. So a PIYO workout today & wk5 run 2 tomorrow, it’s showery tomorrow, but it’s Southwest UK if I wait for nice weather I wouldn’t get out there.

I'm at exactly the same stage and managed to get out whilst it was still just drizzling early on this morning. Not quite so much fun once it gets heavier, I'm in the NW so perhaps it reached you first.

Fingers crossed for better weather tomorrow.

I agree, I'd have been disappointed if I hadn't been able to go which is a totally different frame of mind to where I was a few weeks ago. I was even almost disappointed to stop running after the first 8 minutes. I'm feeling fired up for the longer run 3.

I did my wk7 first run this morning and it was pouring with rain although it wasn't windy. I was soaked but I enjoy running in the rain.

My daughter said running in the rain can be invigorating, but it wasso windy this morning I wimped out 😆
