I for one have had days like that, I just put on my running gear and made myself go and do it. The longer I spend thinking about how much I didn’t want to do something the worse it became. I ran through my mood or lethargy. I felt better afterwards. I sure didn’t break any records but as long as you complete the run it doesn’t matter.
If you really can’t face it today, there’s always tomorrow. But you know you’ll just feel better if you get it done today. 😊
I think we’ve all had days like that. I try to ‘run away’ from those little demons sometimes so I run out the door before I change my mind! But some days you just can’t but don’t worry, there’s always tomorrow and a few extra rest days won’t hurt. I had some bad runs in week 7 because I really didn’t want to go but made myself. In hindsight I might have enjoyed it more if I’d waited until I was mentally feeling better!
