Just completed run 3 of wk5. I didn't struggle but I can't say it was overly easy either. It's mentally which is the most difficult. On one shoulder I have the gremlins telling me " you're getting tired you might need to stop" and the angel on the other shoulder saying" you can do this, you've done the hard work. I just went along with breaking it down to each 5mns and I coped fine.
Here's to wk6 now and I seem to remember this a little bit of a stumbling block, although I can't remember what the runs are, so will wait until Sunday. Feel so proud of myself though.

Omg well done! Is this the 20minute straight? I start week 5 next week and I'm dreading it. I die after doing 5 minutes, how am I meant to be able to do 20?!
I was a little concerned starting wk5 but don't be, you have built up from the other weeks and you CAN DO IT. Just pace yourself, you will be surprised. Mind over matter from now on.
Honestly - as many people have said on this forum, trust in the program - every time you run, you’re improving your cardio fitness, preparing you for the next run - the mental hurdle is now the biggest challenge for me now ! W6R3 on Monday !!!
Well done Returnagain !! It’s a lovely feeling completing this one !! And completely agree it’s the negative thoughts that drain the energy !! Keep them positive ! I completed Week 5 on Monday and I agree - I didn’t struggle but it wasn’t particularly easy either - but then I just did W6R2 this morning and it was the BEST run ever !! Helped by the beautiful sunshine !!!
