Well, well, well. Who'd've thunk it? Couch to 5K completed. From painful beginnings at the end of January, a two week lay off for a chest infection, gammy knees and Olympic-level skills in procrastination, I've managed to finish the whole nine week programme. Cheers Michael Johnson...
I've honestly enjoyed pretty much every minute, not that if felt like it at the time. Can I take a moment to thank each and every one of you on this forum for sharing your stories, commenting on mine, and really maintaining a fantastic community spirit. How we need that, now more than ever. Your journeys are all fantastic and inspirational, and we're ALL runners now.
Once I can get out of here, I'll get some gait analysis done and buy a celebratory pair of proper shoes.
Cheers all!

Congratulations. It is a really great feeling as you pull yourself up on to the graduation podium. Looking forward- the world is your oyster Nice badge btw
Omg well done! I just started my first run today... It was hard but I enjoyed the feeling of finishing it... Did you find it got much easier as you went on?x
Well done Lola, the hardest part really is the first step. After that, the plan really works well. Try not to look too far ahead, the longer runs can seem quite daunting. Just follow the app, it will work out just fine. Good luck!
I am also W3 R2 today and one of my knees started hurting this morning- sooooo annoying isnβt it!! Loving the app though. Hopefully it wonβt stop me as I am so enjoying it!! Hope your shins are ok. π
Congratulations - yes you have succeeded and overcome all the weekly challenges . Brilliant enjoy ever step as you continue your three runs per week . Whatβs next ? Iβm focused on a 5K Parkrun when they return . πΎ
