Friday night got out and ran for the second time this week. After the great improvement with Monday’s run and the improvement of time by 9 seconds getting down to 28.00 minutes for my 5k . I did um and ah whether to go again that week but put my mind to it. It was dry warm although a little later than I had been going so it was dark as well. I found another head light in order could light footway up to make sure there was nothing to tread in or slip on. I got a good pace it felt pretty much similar to my previous runs for this year so expected to be around the 28.00 minute mark again so was pleasantly pleased that I managed to break it on this run. So after moaning previously concerning an improvement of just 2 seconds what did I get this time yep an improvement of two seconds. So what’s different about this run well those two seconds took me below 28.00 this weeks 5k was done in 27.58 mins. Getting back to the times I was achieving in June and September 2020. Hopefully you are all ok and still running and achieving what your aiming for. Keep healthy keep running keep posting good luck. Just a couple of weeks to my second year anniversary of graduating from Couch to 5k and the loss of my mum. Joy and sadness both on the same day. With the last year we have all suffered in some ways I am glad mum was not about for that. Good luck all. Any one needs a chat just message.

Lovely to read your post Papillon17 - and well done on shaving off those very important two seconds in order to run sub 28 minutes!👍🙂 I hope that your running helps you over the next few weeks and that your memories are a little easier.
