Hello all
Just finished run 1 of week 3. My jogging pace is slower than my walking pace, however no problems to report, except for the calves getting a bit tight, but calms down as soon as i finish.
Regards

Well done 👏🏻👏🏻don’t worry about your pace that will improve gradually over time. Your doing great stick with it 👍🏃♂️
Well done.
Do you stretch as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow, as recommended in the guide to the plan.
Many people do not hold their stretches for long enough or put enough effort in. Hold post run stretches for 30 seconds and make sure the pull is strong enough to be on the verge of discomfort.
Well done. I completed my first week 3 run yesterday too. Usually I do a set of stretches before I run that I found on YouTube, but was running late due to work and skipped them. Boy did I feel it in my legs. I won’t be skipping them again!
